Summary[]
Gennosuke Kōga comments that someone had told him for Iga Tsubagakure and Kōga Manjidani to be at peace, they need to start to understand each other, but currently the only way there is for them to understand each other is by fighting. He recalls a time with Oboro who told him they may have been a single spirit in the past and that they are trying to connect now. As he believed that may be true, he asks her to close her eyes and was about to kiss her, when Koshirō Chikuma came and told Oboro that Tenzen Yakushiji wants to see her.
Koshirō carves wood figures on the boat when a boy sees him and comments he is good and Koshirō decides to carve him a wooden frog. Meanwhile, Tenzen asks Oboro if she really won't fight Gennosuke. She explains that even if she wants, her eyes are closed, but Tenzen states its only for five more nights, to which Oboro says she will have Gennosuke kill her in those five nights. Tenzen then states he will bring her to life and put the Iga spirit in her before he then asks her to be his wife. As she refuses, Tenzen tries to violate her and Oboro starts to scream. Koshirō hears it, but tries to bear it as Tenzen is his master. Meanwhile, Jingorō Amayo still trembles in fear of the salt water, but notice there are less passengers and decide to go with Akeginu to investigate. Unable to stand it anymore, Koshirō finally decides to go and asks Tenzen to stop, but unknowingly to him, Tenzen is getting chocked by Gyōbu Kasumi, who then snaps Tenzen's neck. Oboro wonders if Koshirō saved her, but both wonder what happened. Gyōbu gets close to Oboro, but Akeginu and Jingorō then arrive and he retreats. Seeing the dead Tenzen, Jingorō suspects it was Gyōbu and that he is on the boat before he then starts cutting the walls in attempt to hit Gyōbu. He then goes looking for Gyōbu and as he panics, a passenger tries to stop him, but Jingorō kills him. Gyōbu then shows himself under Jingorō holding his leg and then lifting him up and throwing him into the sea. Akeginu jumps after him, but Jingorō completely dissolves into the sea. Then to Gyōbu's surprise, Tenzen comes out alive.
