"The Bloodsucking Seductress" 「人肌地獄 Hitohada jigoku」 is the seventh episode of Basilisk.
Summary[]
Koshirō Chikuma tells Oboro that Tenzen Yakushiji wants to speak with her. As she leaves, Gennosuke Kōga tells Koshirō that his wood carvings are beautiful and he should teach the Kōga children on how to make them, but Koshirō just left.
Meanwhile, Rōsai Azuki interrogates Okoi wanting to know more about the remaining Kōga ninja on the list, but Okoi just annoys him asking whats inside of his head. Rōsai tells her its all the hate he had for Kōga as he remembers how they used Nobunaga Oda's surprise attack to strike Iga Tsubagakure. Okoi states that's misunderstanding and they would never fall that low, but Rōsai says they would have done the same thing, if their positions would have been reversed. Rōsai again insist she tells him about what techniques the ninja have and as he threatens her, he places his hand on her shoulder. In that moment he realizes he can't remove his hand and foolishly places his other hand on the other shoulder getting it also stuck. Okoi then starts sucking his blood from the skin, sucking him dry and killing him. She free herself and vomits the blood, realizing the Iga indeed is up to something and she needs to return to Kōga Manjidani.
Saemon Kisaragi and Gyōbu Kasumi reach Iga Tsubagakure, Saemon disguised as Yashamaru decides to go ahead alone before he is soon attacked by Hotarubi, but when she stops when she sees Yashamaru. Saemon wonders if he had been discovered, but Hotarubi goes and hugs him, making him realize they she and Yashamaru were together. Her snake bites Saemon's finger, but Hotarubi sucks the poison. Saemon comments that he is surprised that not only her snake didn't recognize him, but she also didn't and attacked him. Hotarubi apologize and explains its because his hair is so different from when he left for Sunpu. She suspects it must be because of Danjō Kōga or Shōgen Kazamachi, and reveals that Danjō is most likely already dead and that she killed Shōgen with her own hands.
At the same time, Jingorō Amayo looks for Rōsai and asks Okoi if he had been there. Okoi asks him to kill her, stating that a Kōga woman can't live if she was violated by an Iga, which surprised Jingorō as he believed Rōsai had lost interest in women. Jingorō then decides to do the same and takes his pants off. But as he starts to touch her, Okoi grabs him and starts sucking his blood too, making him realize she is a human leech.
Tenzen goes to meet Oboro and apologizes for making her wait. He tells her to prepare herself as he needs to tell her something important. Tenzen then reveals that the Anti-War Pact had been nullified, which shocks Oboro.
