Summary[]

Young Takechiyo and Kunichiyo are brought together. A man explains to them the decision that the last Shogun had made and asks them to accept it and the one that isn't chosen to not be jealous of the other. They show the scroll reading that the last survivor was from Iga and announce Takechiyo as the winner.

The Five Treasures of Kōga had arrived to help Tadanaga. Kasō explains the enemy is Iga ninja known as the Black Hoes, but they aren't even worthy of being called ninja. Kasō uses his fire breath to easily kill few of them and Kazuma using his whip blade, kills the one that jump at Kasō. The enemy uses Ninpō Darkness Spider, surrounding everyone in a spider web. Geiin uses his Ninpō Firefly Squad to make the enemies visible and Tenshin kills the remaining ninja with his caltrops. They tell Tadanaga that they will help him reach his destination and then talk about their leader, Hachirō and his dojutsu. Tadanaga recalls that Gennosuke Kōga also had the same dojutsu and anyone who tries to hurt or kill him, would fall under his dojutsu and kill himself.

Hibiki Iga hears that a woman had lost her child in the forest and they gather the men to go look for it. She joins them to look for the child. He eventually hears a voice and leads the rest to the lost boy. Hachisu asks Namenba if she asked Gorone to fix her gun and Namenba confirms, but tells her she needs to be nice to him and asks him herself next time. Hachirō went to speak with Gorone, telling him that he plans to leave the village. A bit later, Namenba looking for Hibiki goes to Gorone, who tells her she may have met Hachirō and explains his desire to leave, but stops Namenba from going to look for Hachirō. Namenba wonders what Gorone knows and how Hibiki and Hachirō have the blood of Oboro and Gennosuke.

Hibiki finds Hachirō and asks him why he wants to leave the village without telling her. She wonders if its about their powers, but explains that she isn't afraid of his power as he can only use it if she hates him or wants to hurt him and that her power is even less useful as she can only prevent someone else power. Hachirō mentions that she must had noticed something during the last cherry blossom bloom, when he left her to win, but Hibiki says that must had been a whirlwind.

Tadanaga mentions that he heard of an immortal ninja, Tenzen, but Geiin didn't know much about him as he was Iga. Kasō mentions he was from the ten Iga, which makes Tadanaga comment that Gennosuke had managed to defeat even such a monster and wonders how he could have lost to Oboro. Tadanaga says he heard that Kyōhachirō had met Oboro before the final battle and wonders if they made some sort of plan, as originally Hattori clan was from Iga.

Gorone tells Namenba that the story of the battle between Gennosuke and Oboro is that they overextended their powers and had died, with Oboro living a slightly longer and managing to write on the scroll. But the story told in their village was different. Before the final battle, Gennosuke was already hurt and wasn't able to open his eyes. Oboro announced her love for him and had killed herself. Gennosuke then wrote that Iga were the victor and embracing Oboro had killed himself. Gorone doesn't know how much of that is true, but one day Kyōhachirō visited Geiin and delivered two babies.

Tadanaga says he needs to give up, but yet he still can't accept that was the right decision of Iga being the victor. Tenshin then opens the house and Geiin tells him to close the door as the wind is getting inside, but Tenshin tells he can't do that and as his head falls down, he explains its because he is already dead.
